Made with acrylic paint, this canvas bag was designed to have a whimsical aesthetic that I found truly intriguing. I created this design by washing out the background with watered down acrylics, then layering the mushroom design over it. I used complimenting colors to give the wild aesthetic I was attempting to create. This style communicates young, modern fashion. It has a pop, mixed with a cutsie style, that many young fashionistas want to embody. Even with the basic imagery, mushrooms are seen as the most current fashion accessory, imagery wise, and are commonly integrated into clothes, jewelry, cases, or, in my case, bags. I, personally, love this esthetic, and look forward to the newest trend that might come my way.
